Its function
SteelTrack is an advanced Supervision system for Electrical Steel Plant, developed by Iso Sistemi.
SteelTrack includes all the useful functions for optimized plant management:
- Interface with Level 1 (data collection from the field)
- Interface with Level 3 (acquisition of the production programmes); in the absence of a level 3, you can directly insert the programs in IsoMelt through a special interface
- Complete tracking of production and use of the steel industry equipment
- Handling of abnormal events (deviations and non-conformities)
- HMI and operator guide, realized through a graphical interface
- Reporting
- Historicization of production and process data on a dedicated Data Base.

Configurable system
Depending on the different plant configurations and management rules of electric steel mills, SteelTrack has been designed as a configurable system that can easily adapt to customer needs, also regarding the interfaces with Level 1 and Level 3.

The IsoMelt supervision system is part of the “Steel Solutions” suite and is integrated with the OptiMet load optimization model, also it developed by Iso Sistemi: the two systems have been designed to work together providing users with the maximum advantage. OptiMet comes as an optional SteelTrack add-on module.
